Dear Paula, I want to reach out to you with love in this time of loss. As I grow older and undeniably closer to death I find it very strange that something I accepted as a child seems strange and unbelievable as an older adult. How can someone be here and then suddenly NOT be? Arin’s death hit me hard because although I didn’t know him well, he was such a vibrant person I cannot imagine him… dead. They had the story of the avalanche on the network news but didn’t release a name. I woke up in the night unable to breathe, dreaming that I was buried under snow. When I heard the name I was devastated and felt like I had a connection with him at some level I didn’t fully understand.
I have worked with his sister for ten years and became friends with Liesa right before they moved ( that broke my heart)
Anyway, dear one, thanks for being that explorer who wants to learn more and more about life, death, and impermanence and share your journey(s).with the rest of us. Miss you!!!
    Love, your grateful student

    Thank you beloved Paula.
My heart feels so much of what you so eloquently spoke. The sudden and clearly defined missing of such a brilliant human light is enormous.
May the dance Arin danced and the dance your new friend is experiencing this moment continue to illuminate the truth of this impermanence called life.
May we all lessen the burden of impending death, and simply dance today.
Thank you thank you for your light in my life..
